About Us

Being a life-long educator has provided me the opportunity to Teach, Learn, and Grow. Together with my husband, Philip, I have developed Vassar Candle Co, a boutique-style candle company. 

We want to share ONE of our favorite pastimes— “Using candles to help ignite our flame”. While driving sales and increasing market share are essential components of any business, our main goal was to develop products that we believe will add value to your home.

Vassar Candle Co is not just another candle company. We are making a difference in our clients' lives as well as our communities. While providing luxurious illumination to the world, we are using our dollars to reinvest and to give back to charitable causes. As philanthropists and small business owners, we pride ourselves on thinking of others first and making decisions that are best for the environment and our neighbor, including the pouring of each custom candle. Our soy candles are hand-poured fresh to order.

As VCC continues to grow, I know that the positive flames we ignite will spread throughout society.
